Continuing Ministerial Development
To be a disciple of Christ, even more than it means to be a follower, means to be a learner. We should expect no less of those who are authorised, licensed or ordained ministers in the Church of England than that they are lifelong learners. How could they be otherwise? Some aspects of our faith have deep historical roots and these do not change, but we can always understand them more deeply. At the same time, offering Christian ministry and participating in God’s mission in an ever-changing world means that we need to learn new skills in order that we can keep pace with the changing cultures of the communities and people we serve.

CMD Courses Online and In-Person
Over the next three years, as we review the common training needs that emerge through Ministerial Development Reviews and through requests and ideas sent to us, we will be developing a range of Continuing Ministerial Development (CMD) courses, some of which will be available online and others which will be delivered in-person or remotely.
