Learning Resources for Ministers in Training
How exciting that you have begun your journey towards authorisation, licensing or ordination!
Everyone training for Authorised Lay Ministry ministry in our Diocese needs to complete a discipleship programme. This could be an approved course running in your parish, or our own Growing as a Disciple course. Before embarking on training for Licensed Lay Ministry, you will be asked to complete the one-year Foundations for Ministry programme from the Eastern Region Ministry Course (ERMC) unless you have equivalent prior learning. You can also access the Safeguarding training you will need to complete through this site. If you are already training for Licensed Lay Ministry (LLM) or have begun ordination training, the learning resources you need will be on the Moodle site of the Theological Education Institution (TEI) you’re training with. For more information about how this training is delivered, please use the links below. If you’re training for Authorised Lay Ministry, then your course materials will be on this site. You will be given an enrolment key for the course relating to your specialism. In addition, you can find information about the range of Learning Resources for Growth we are developing as a Diocese.
